Err, no on both counts. Dwarfs have shorter long bones but normal sized torsos and heads - this is caused by premature fusion of the bone epiphyses often due to errors in FGF signalling. Midgets are proportionately smaller all round - often due to reduced amounts of HGH. These are medical terms.

I wasn’t meaning dwarfs (e.g. people with achondroplasia). I was using midget as the term referring to people with proportionate small stature.

This is literally the situation now. Except that the guy in the windowless room is named Rajendra and he is in Bangalore.

I once taught at a school that I think had the best of both worlds.
Single site, mixed classes in junior, single sex classes y7-y11, mixed classes y12 and 13.
There are clear benefits for single sex classes, especially for more academic girls, but it avoided the problems with socialisation that single-sex schools have.

IMO You are totally barking up the wrong tree here. If someone has trisomy this is the result of an error during meiosis to generate the gametes (egg or sperm). This will have happened well before any prescription of a morning-sickness medication.
I can think of no plausible mechanism by which a drug could trigger trisomy in all cells of an individual later in gestation.
Has anyone seen or read an April Fool this morning?
