I was a big skipper my senior year. I had to do a few Saturday schools to make up for all of my unexcused absences. I didn’t find out if I would graduate till literally minutes before our graduation rehearsal.
I also still dream about classes I’ve never attended to this day.

My 8th grade algebra teacher once showed me a B beside my name in the roll book, and told me she’d never seen it before me but it stood for Both Gifted & Talented. At 42 I found out it was really just both ADHD & autism.

I can’t even remember the last time I disciplined my kid. He’s 11 now, but I think he was maybe 3 when I finally gave up on time outs and started talking it out instead. So any issue gets talked out after a cool down in his room if he needs it.

Took a good friend from another school as my date. There was a casino set up in one room and that’s where we stayed all night. Never even set foot in the main room with the dancing and typical prom things.

I had two older sisters and were all three years apart. Of course I’m the youngest, and my middle sister was the *worst*. When people do that “were you the sibling with the knife or the one being chased” joke, that was actually us though we took turns on who was the psycho with the knife. She also would sneak attack me with those sharky clips where I’d just be minding my business and BAM! Sharky clip on my boob or arm or anywhere she could get it before she’d run. Oh, there was also the classic “pin you down and see how far the spit will get” crap. God, she was the worst but dammit she died a few years ago and I’d go through all of her torture for the rest of my life if I could get her back.

I impulsively bought a bidet attachment for our toilet a few years ago. After a couple of days with it, I bought another one for the other toilet in my house. I literally hate having to use any other toilets now because I love my bidets so much.

I live in the Greenville area. The highway coming to and from Dallas is killer out this way because of the sheer amount of growth we’ve been having. Just yesterday it took me over an hour to get home from the eastern most parts of Mesquite. For reference, it only took me 26 minutes to get from my home to that part of Mesquite. You will definitely want to look closer to Greenville OR if you want more city amenities than the smaller towns out this way offer, look more towards McKinney. 380 goes straight from there to Greenville and it’s more of a 45 minute drive that’s much more bearable.
