Apocalypse Bunker Fails as Wealthy Residents Turn on Each Other

I'm not gonna pull the "the left pushed me to the right" story or anything, but if you're genuine: I did leave most leftist subs. I'm still a hard leftist that believes in equality, the dissolution of wealth and power to the proletariat. Between the incessant infighting on definitions or shoehorning of beliefs into definitions, it began to feel like a pissing contest by armchair radicals. Getting blasted in r/anarchy because you aren't a vegan or use the word "stupid" is so ridiculous in the modern era that I cant take any of these subs seriously.

I think the email legit said I wasn't a psychiatrist and had no evidence of a diagnosis or something. The mod not only permabanned but muted me for a month. It was truly bizarre. Clearly a case of yet another power tripping mod

I forget which sub it was but I got banned for calling them sociopaths because the mod team felt I was throwing around ableisms... No, that's almost verbatim what you'd call this. These people are sociopaths

Seems Accurate.

*Me gesturing broadly to 90% of the people I work with* I live in the deep south US and work blue trade, these people naturally assume I'm MAGA. I've had coworkers approach me to talk about things like replacement theory, or the lazer the Democrats have to control the weather. It's so absolutely insane what people believe now, I wish we could go back to when conspiracy theories were just aliens and mole people

I've literally begun to use pork as a substitute because the cost is like 1/3rd the price. A lb of ground chuck at my local grocery chain (Publix) is at like 11$. The specialty corner grocery is where I started shopping because the prices are so much more affordable and the butchers there a have been slowly teaching me Spanish lol

I haven't had beef in months because it's astronomically priced right now. Which is whatever, I'm sure the vegans here love that but man.... a steak for dinner would be nice one of these days

I live in a bloodredneck county in Florida. 100% of my neighbors would absolutely execute me for being a leftist if orange man asked them to. What really funny though is the few I've had over for dinner or whatever (before realizing ng they were lunatics) literally agree on things like: Fair wages. Healthcare. Don't be a pedo. But because we live in a country that has weaponized political standings, that's where we are

The problem with this is the droves of (gun owning) people living in poverty who can't afford food or healthcare who believe the current administration is working in their interests and will die to keep it that way. There is a whole unorganized sect of civilization that will ooze out of the woodwork to blindly defend the flag if it came down to it. American propaganda has succeeded.

Because I've been aware of collapse for over a decade and I'm just tired of it. If you ever want to feel completely powerless to the coming storm that was brought on by capitalist fucks than this is the sub for you. I've almost unsubscribed quite a few times but haven't yet, I understand the ones that do.

>marketing is designed to exploit our repressed impulses. Did y'all know that commercials were also let loose under his presidency? That he reversed FCC rules and regulations about TV ads, and a big chunk of that was during children's programming? Transformers (while cool) was basically a 20 minute commercial.

Reagan's main focus to decentralize and regulate everything from the government and open up the free market is like the tipping point of late stage capitalism. Boot straps, welfare queens, the fake war on drugs? So much of where America fucked up can be rested at the foot of his grave.

Living in Florida: I have a coworker who grew up here and he absolutely insists the groves are being deliberately exterminated by the deep state to cripple the Florida economy and keep us in poverty. By deep state, he means the political party that is bought, owned and run by corporations. Which is somehow a separate entity from the political theatre that Trump is currently the head of.

I always love it when people smarter then I am can bust out a fuckin response like this with sources to back up their facts What's a bummer is by the time you get to this level of response, the dipshit who was spouting off nonsense usually just slinks back into the wood work without ever coming to the conclusion they were wrong. Then they just surface again a few days later to keep on pushing their agenda.

Ok.... "Human nature" as you view it has been disproven for awhile now. Also, acting like the rest of the world outside of our "bubbles of naivety" are nothing but slaving, raping warmongering communities is some serious pearl clutching IMO Clearly we aren't going to reach an understanding here.

These are still outliers and products of those systems, you can't generalize all of humanity based on a chunk of the fucked up ones. There have always been opposite forces against those things you describe, *that* is the human element.

Humans are shaped by the society they live in, which is currently capitalism. This is the end stage of what started long before anybody had the power to stop it. Humans weren't meant to live like this.
