2 cake tiers after his cousin’s bride didn’t turn up. Top tier was thrown on the day. Cousin wanted rid of the cake so he brought it into work. 4 employees total. I ate half a tier by myself

Might show my age but when my dad got paid in cash, we’d stick it in a bejams bag and my dad told me to carry it because there’s no way some 7year old kid wearing a turtles shirt and ghostbusters shorts was walking around with £1k

When I was in my 20d I’d disappear for a few days over my birthday. Head to a city and walk around. Go to the cinema, shop, eat pastries.  That way I didn’t get empty “happy birthday”s from people I don’t give a shit about

True. Never have. My parents moved 15 mins so my sister and I could get into the school they wanted. As the crow flies it’s about 500m difference. You’re right though, never lived rurally

We live in the southeast with a 70k combined. Own a house, have no debt outside of the mortgage. As long as they’re living within their means, they’re doing great

It’s been about 10 years since it came along to ruin burgers. It helped restaurant charge excessive prices for a burger because it had a premium bun. But to me, brioche smells awful. Brioche can do one.

Our only entertainment expenditure is the odeon limitless. We do not pay for any tv subscriptions or music subscriptions.  1 takeaway a month - on payday I’ve even budgeted for my addiction (Coke Zero)

If he’s on the hard shoulder, that’s not a place for rest. Highways will check on him but he cannot sit on a hard shoulder without a plan for rescue
