Over 100 NSW service stations run out of diesel, and some have no fuel at all - Dozens of service stations in New South Wales have run out of fuel, while over 100 still have petrol but their diesel supply has run dry.

Nah. Just an accelerated transition to post fossil fuel transportation. The entire premise of mad Max relies on that world not having solar energy....which we have. So no. Not mad max. Just a market supply driven shift in technology. Hope that helps.

Ouch! Volvo sales are in absolute free-fall in the US so far this year with major tariff impacts as there is no US production except the EX90. Rocky EV launches riddled with software problems and killing too many models.

What you just described fits the needs of WAY more people than most are willing to admit. I watch my neighbors drive to work 20 minutes down the road in their diesel Ram truck and never ever use it the way it was intended. It's time people bought the car they need than the one they think will give them street cred (it doesn't)

Which begs the question, what's wrong with everyone else? Less than 20% of people who buy pickups need them to be gas, for various reasons. Seems like America is stuck in the past, in more ways than one.

Imagine if the world had made EVs first and then some tries to transition to gas. It would fail after one week. Anyone who thinks EV ownership and driving experience is somehow compromised is being dishonest.

My take is this. Amazon replaces the trio with the new blood, and the show actually gets fairly well received. Clarkson sees this and decides he's not quite ready to stop dicking around, and they sign on for an annual Christmas special for three years. Come on Jermey. Your heart can take a trip once a year.

Our xc90 t8 was the most problematic car I've ever driven. In the shop 10 times over a 24 month lease. The electric heater broke 3 times, which meant I had to use the gas engine to heat the cabin. Making the hybrid component completely useless. Worst part was they couldn't fix it. Replaced and broke within a week each time. Awful, awful quality overall. But I guess it was safe?

The way Tesla does the climate control is the best of any on-screen setup I’ve seen. Always available, responsive and positioned so you can hold your palm under the display while you use your thumb to adjust. I’d be completely confident saying it’s no less disruptive than older cars I’ve had where the button was physical.

Tesla Model Y. Prior to that I owned a BMW, Volvo, Audi, ford, Acura, VW and another VW. Tesla has More innovation than every other car I’ve owned combined. It’s a remarkable feat of engineering, and on par with the Audi for build quality. Rivian might pull me away if they prove themselves over the next three years, but otherwise, the Tesla ownership experience just can’t be beat by any other brand.
