I was going to say this. I call it "last of the loo roll syndrome" There are these people who use the whole roll then don't change it but perhaps worse are those who use all but one or two sheets DELIBERATELY so they don't have to change it

Why would a doctor want to speak to my mum before giving her access to her medical notes?

Posted by themightybott@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 54 comments

TippyTurtley@reddit

They will possibly be wondering why she has requested them again if she already has them. They may be concerned to make sure they know what she is already aware of and if she needs someone to talk her through that. They may just be checking if there is a medical need she has at the moment that she might be wanting help with so they can talk her through bits of her notes that might help.

A replacement mug will not be the same. Even if it looks identical. It will be better to either try and fix that mug and put it on display or buy your mum a new and very different mug

Ok I can do that. I'll make them like a buffet with cold pizza and leave out some noodle and cereal options. And lucozade someone else suggested.

Did the antibiotic prescription work? If that is the first thing they've tried then if it hasn't worked then you'll probably need to see a doctor. The Nurse will have been trained in such things and will escalate to a doctor if needed when they see you. Re the lump. I have seen a nurse practitioner for a lump and they did everything I believe a doctor would. They both follow the NICE guidelines.

The pharmacy I use take anything, opened or unopened. They even make a point of asking for antibiotics back so people don't tip them into the sink I guess.

Do not get anything baby related. Get something for the couple to show you see them as people outside their role as parents. A hamper for 2 is a great idea.
