Microwave jacket. Prick a potato, 8-9 mins in the microwave, leave a tin of Heinz and a bag of grated cheese out next to it. Split the spud, beans in a mug microwaved for 90 seconds, tip over. Takes no decisions, which is the important bit: drunk-you is terrible at choosing and excellent at following instructions.

My mum would sometimes leave us sandwiches all made up, cut and stacked wrapped in cling film, plus a bowl of crisps. It was heavenly to fall upon after getting in. She admitted this was to get us to put some food into our boozy stomachs but also because it prevented mess and noise when she was sleeping. Smart woman

Cereal, especially something like honey cheerios or honey nut cornflakes for the sugar crunch. Microwave burger, especially the Aldi version of the mcrib - add a slice of cheese and some of that precut salad that's like un-mayonnaised coleslaw and you get a really good and easily made tasty burger. Some milk for rehydration, and a couple of paracetamol.
