I chill out in my cellar as it's a bit of a man cave, t's freezing down there. I will also put a fan in the cellar door directed at the living room opposite. the other year when it was like the gates of hell I put my camper vans reflective window blinds into the bedroom windows as it gets the sun all afternoon.

there's been an uptick in interest from the younger generation in the 60's scene, primarily the Northern soul side and the mod R&B clubs. Also always a lot of younger faces on the 50's scene too.

We were in Costa rica recently and a German couple were filming literally everything they did, it was fascinating but tiring just watching it. No idea why anyone wanted to see them make and eat breakfast and play chess but I'm guessing at least one person did.  I am guessing the girl in her skimpy clothes gets more views than her fella tho 😝

he had a massive drunken meltdown and called all the women in the crowd ugly cunts and tried to fight one of them. to be fair she was an ugly cunt but my wife was right next to me and she definitely isn't. it was also a family festival with loads of kids about, it was a horrid car crash of a show. he seems to be in a better place now tho.

56 and I go out for late nights at clubs every few months but it's a very specific scene full of friends and not some town nightclub full of kids.  Even when I was young they could fuck off. Hated them, even if it thinned my pulling options by a lot.

reading all these i realise i have so many but one still winds me up. we were flying back from Faro to Luton on easyjet and after a delay we finally took off. so already running late we have to divert to Birmingham as there was a bad thunderstorm over Luton. the plan was to wait until it had cleared then take off again. so sat on the tarmac for a few hours in a stuffy plane people are getting stressed, finally the pilot says things have cleared and we will just have to wait for a take off spot, so maybe another 30mins. suddenly this woman freaks out and decideds she can't wait any longer a needs off the plane, they try calming her but she's having none of it. then others start joining in and demand to be let off. so they relent and let off any who want to get off. we then had to empty the whole planes luggage onto the ground and anyone getting off had to take theirs and then they had to reload the plane, after waiting for a new take off slot we finally left. we landed at Luton just after all the baggage people had gone home so had to then wait over an hour for the luggage to get unloaded. i then had to drive home, we got home 8hrs later than we were supposed to but got bugger all from easyjet other than a cup of warm water while we were waiting at Birmingham. had food poisoning on a trip back from Bulgaria, had a shooting at LAX the morning of our flight so everything was badly delayed, had flights cancelled at the airport and so many other issues. flying next month and now my stress levels are rising just reading all these

Badly drawn boy playing our local town show. My mate was doing catering and had supplied him with a bottle of JD before the show and warned me he'd drank the lot. He came on and wanted at his best, most didn't know who the hell he was and they were pissed too so started giving him shit. He then called all the local women ugly cunts and threw a tambourine at them. I was front row at the time and hit reverse through the crowd cringing hard as he had a proper breakdown in front of family's with kids. I've heard he's sorted himself out now.

As an ex postie meeting all the dogs was the highlight of my day none went without a fuss even the drug dealers huge mastiff, that was actually a real sweetheart (which he hated, thankfully it got took from him before he abused it into nastiness)  I usually found staffies to be the loveliest, now Chihuahuas on the other hand.
