Do you go to Dunkin Donuts more for their baked goods or their drinks?

Posted by Gallantpride@reddit | AskAnAmerican | View on Reddit | 240 comments

CtForrestEye@reddit

D&D food is gross. The doughnuts are made several towns away, not on site. The eggs are only warmed in the microwave and are ALWAYS overcooked. If I'm there it's only to get a coffee and it's the one day a week that the real doughnut shop down the road is closed.

CtForrestEye@reddit

When I go on vacation I'll move cameras from the state forests to my home, both inside and outside. Nobody else can access them. They're locked and chained to other things. They're not on wifi so a blocker is not going to work.

CtForrestEye@reddit

Years ago, the first week of July we were driving the kids to the top. We had the put their sweatshirts and warm clothes in the car. They were confused as it was 75f degrees at the base. At the top it was 34f with flurries blowing by. The cables over the summit house holding it down were a site. And the cog railway is cool also.

Posted by ThePurpleRainmakerr@reddit | AskAnAmerican | View on Reddit | 873 comments

CtForrestEye@reddit

Owning it all is the reason why people buy a little cottage near the beach, knock it down and build tall beach houses. The land is worth much more than the dwelling.

The past few nights the windows were open as the daytime were up to 90f. We kept the temps in the 70s in the house. Now the house is closed. Tomorrow's highs will only be in the 40s. I won't reinstall the ACs for another month or more.
