As long as they keep the tacky Dollar Store interiors, I am good with the plan. Let's go. Edit: in the same vein, I want a Snap into a Slim Jim interior option with Randy's face as a backdrop in the gigantor screen.

It's not only that, but also the length it takes to charge. Unless you're in China and you have access to the stations that just swap the pack and off you go. Plus also the price. Again, unless you're in China where you can buy these things for cheap.

Yeah, that's very nice. Could Toyota just make a Hiace from the mid to late 90s for the US market. The 4 cyl popper EFI with no fancy teck, RWD, and with the glass headlights, would do fine for me. Thank you.

That might be the case, but when they do fail, on the 38, it's big job to replace. On the 40, it isn't that big of a job because Nissan put a port - or whatever you want to call it - to access the pump without taking the entire plate. Don't take my word for it. Ouch! Volvo sales are in absolute free-fall in the US so far this year with major tariff impacts as there is no US production except the EX90. Rocky EV launches riddled with software problems and killing too many models.

I think their tried and true 4 cyl/prius atkinson systems are/were great; solid reliability, etc. But their newer stuff, still atkinson, in the new Tacos, is going through teething issues. And pretty big ones, too.

But not the new Taco RWD based system. Those things have teething issues -- see TFL youtube video about an owner who had an issue. Yes, yes, I know that's just one documented case.

So. The formula is, keep supplies low, let people climb over each other to buy 'SUVs' -- that they don't need at $90k -- drive demand up, and then increase sells? Genius!

Keyword: average. As in a SAV thingy, not some niche car that feels like you're driving a car from the 60s with that suspension setup. The majority of people who can afford these are Sb runners or mummies kerb crawlers. They can get a highlander or whatever that drives better than this thing.
