The main selling points to me were higher build quality than other laptop manufacturers like Dell and HP and being able to avoid the Windows tax by getting the DIY edition. I picked Framework because they're good laptops that will keep chugging along for the foreseeable future, and I'm willing to pay a premium for that.

I think federated social media is a dead end, it harms discoverability and ease of understanding too much to be worth it. I personally prefer an open source, fork-able, centralized platform.

The Drama site is the only one I can think of, site has pretty chill moderation. Though it's also very offputting to new users (intentionally so). X also has lax rules, but customer support is worthless and most content is rage bait. > How can we get our reddit back? You can't.
