Every valid post seems from deleted users

Ok "valid" may not be the perfect word here but what I try to share is that almost everytime I stumble on a post where I learn something helping or where I relate strongly, the user is now gone from Reddit : deleted profile.
I'm not new to searching alternatives because the adds and banning and voting and karma nonsense but now this made me realise that internet is dying.
I didn't try all alternatives. Did you guys and girls found a real alternative that is not poisoned with enshitification and all the creepy stuff mentionned above ?
Or is it the begining of the end of the online experience ?

Probably related to the fact that Reddit is very much under the control of totalitarian political activists

Ok maybe, that makes sense. Knowing that, what makes you stay here ?
idunnorn@reddit
tbh now that I think about it I may just delete all my posts/accounts soon and cut 99% of my access. (a few subreddits are more essential)
idunnorn@reddit
App is sticky tbh.
I recently purged a ton of groups I was in that i considered toxic/argumentative.
Today even a bunch of those are feeling toxic now. (one...due to new mods who do a 20 day ban for...not agreeing with other people? its ick af.)
So yes its toxic but you also get quick interactions that do fuel some dopamine...

Not me, man, I'm deleting as many posts and comments as I can stand when I leave.

Why ?
GreatRedditorThracc@reddit
Lemmy and discuit seem like they could be viable alternatives
Toothless_NEO@reddit
Lemmy and the fediverse are the ones most people went to. As a platform it has more combined users than most of the Centralized startups you see here.
Toothless_NEO@reddit
Many people who find the perfect Reddit alternative leave there permanently and delete their Reddit accounts. Which is good for them but isn't as great for helping spread awareness to other Reddit users.
Future-Excuse6167@reddit
I´d be happy to include a plug for lemmy in every one of my comments, but I´d be banned as a spammer.
ragtagangel@reddit (OP)
At least some deleted accounts didn't erase their contribution here which were the fuel for this original post.
ragtagangel@reddit (OP)
Several comments mentionned that people who left went to a new/different forum. I'm just here to say that maybe a lot left to take a break from it all or just choose to get rid of this experience. Be it to invest more time off-line and/or to create something more solid in everyday presence with others/strangers/new or existing circles.
Liveusb@reddit
4chan not vpn friendly but it gets the job done. Has horrible CAPCHA but less reddit weird crap
Horicalllageebs@reddit
Most people who genuinely want to help are republicans and reddit is really aggressive towards them. They been slowly leaving reddit since 2015

Right now I imagine a place which doesn't fear to grow from small but with people that aim for change and allow trials in order to not necessarily go back in the past but be inspired by what was great at the core of this experience
norooster1790@reddit
Things change
My parents bitched about how much better newspapers and magazines were. Really, mom? Cosmo was the height of human communication?
Youre just used to 2010s coms. There have been and will always be pros and cons to the way the world is
GoodMacAuth@reddit
This seems like a cop-out response to a real problem.
ragtagangel@reddit (OP)
Before this answer was deleted I read it (reddit here could mean it was spotted haha) , I remember something like : "Times change. Before forums, people believed magazines were great. So this enshitification is logic and acceptable."
Yes times change, and we can also change this mess.
SmileyBMM@reddit
Some of the best options are shadow banned by Reddit, so that might be a factor.
ragtagangel@reddit (OP)
I also witnessed that and believe we can do better.
sirkidd2003@reddit
Could it be that people seeking Reddit alternative and around a "reasonable" one simply left Reddit and deleted their account?
I know when I find one I like I'm out of here!
ragtagangel@reddit (OP)
Maybe we can hope for more than "reasonable".
I don't know why but I am not attracted by alternatives that seems advertised on reddit. Not saying that they are not reasonable but feeling that it can come from a similar attempt of control, like everytime something is introduced like the solution when in reality it's a false choice.
I imagine something and I will post it below as an answer to the original post.
Die4Ever@reddit
yea lots of Lemmy and PieFed users deleted their Reddit accounts

Come give us a try. We have anti-enshitification plans. https://tribes.app
