You are right about voters though. When I say the US didn't want it open, I am referring to decision makers for the conflict.

to disrupt capability and force an agreement for no nuclear. If it was acceptable to US to allow some level of enrichment there was a deal and perhaps could have been another prior to the conflict, but that’s not no nuclear

I do not consider terrorist group operating outside of any nations sovereignty that fires missiles into Israel every chance it gets, firing missiles into Israel comparable to Canada joining WW2.

Perhaps, but we were talking about whether it is in their self interest today to eliminate hamas and hazbollah or to perpetuate their existence for ongoing support, which is a valid possibility, but Id question whether they’d prefer the territory and security, could always point to another enemy for support, and stop short of eliminating them from international pressure.

The moon isn’t really a nation at war keen on waiting for their blockage to be overwhelmed by “thousands of participants, more than a hundred boats, hundreds of trucks, and expanded goals.” as the flotilla intended but intercepting them early is probably preferable to blowing them out of the water as blockades of countries at war tend to do.
