A comparison doesn't need to be 1 to 1 the same to the other. There can be differences. It's about when the similarities are far more apparent than the differences.

Also for the fact that Israel has a different system for each arab depending on whether he has citizenship or not. Non Jews with citizenship have better conditions than Non Jews without one in Israel but they still face indirect or even direct discrimination by law, society, security forces and politics. That is kinda similar to how blacks were treated up the US North before the civil rights act. Better than the south and somewhat equal by law but still not fully equal in practice. It's a mixture of that and a few Jim Crow like laws such as the Committee laws for Jewish towns. Non Jews without citizenship on the other hand (meaning Palestinians but also Armenians and others) have go through a system that reminds many people of what we saw in apartheid south Africa or Rhodesia.
