Categorical imperatives are unconditional moral laws binding everyone regardless of desire (e.g., "Do not lie"), while hypothetical imperatives are conditional actions required only to achieve a specific goal (e.g., "If you want trust, do not lie"). Basically the difference between “Chinaman not being the preferred nomenclature” and “You’ve got to feed the monkey, man”

Imagine if Rambo had had a calm discourse with the Russians, and really tried to see things from their point of view. Fucking Star Wars made America the Galactic Empire. And we still are. Germany in the 1920’s and 30’s was inspired by our treatment of minorities, so they fashioned their most barbaric policies based on us. The blood on our hands is deep red, and nothing we can do will ever wash it off. This is America.

In the bowling alleys I was in, during the 90’s, yes, there was in fact sarsaparilla available. First place I tried it was a bowling alley.
