Didn’t notice this until I’d seen it hundreds of times.

In the pic on the left, The Dude is seen standing in front of a red board with scissors on it when he’s at Maude’s flat. After Treehorn drugs him, he dreams of the nihilists coming at him wearing red and carrying similar scissors so they could cut off his Johnson.

My thinking about this has become very uptight.

His only hope was that the Big Lebowski kills him before the nihilists could cut his dick off.

One thing I've always wondered is whether there's any link between the scissors scene and a 1983 pornographic Atari 2600 game called X-Man.

Game was Adult rated at the time and it was somewhat underground. I always wondered whether the red scissors to cut off the characters chonson had any relationship with the movie.
