I think the only issue you’d run into is the lack of bathroom breaks. To get anyone to agree to permit or insure this, you’d have to have bathrooms and give people the opportunity to use them. Otherwise, no one is making it more than maybe 12 hours. Also, having organized several running races, shutting down that 300 miles at a time, and then shutting down another 300 miles, would be a nightmare, if not impossible. It would also be expensive. You’d either need to do it on a long trail, like the Katy Trail in Missouri, the C&O canal in Maryland, or figure out a long loop that can have rolling shutdowns.

The last flight I was on, they immediately offered $800 for one person to switch to a flight that was about 2.5 hours later. I was going to do it but someone beat me to the counter. I heard the agent say travel credit. So I coughed and it sounded like “ask her for cash.” The agent kinda glared at me, but apparently the cash value was only $500. I don’t know which one he took because they were also willing to swap his wife’s seat for free. I went back to my seat after they started talking about that.

A few years ago, I was leaving long term parking. The only payment machine wasn’t working and the gate was up. The shuttle driver said I had to wait. I waited two minutes and said fuck it. It would have been around $75, but who knows how long it would have taken for someone to come fix it. I never heard anything about it.

I used my leaf blower vacuum on Sunday. You swap the blower nozzle for a bag add a very large tube to the air intake, which has a blade for mulching and suck up all the leaves. I bought it maybe 11 years ago.

If you have saved two lives. (confirmed) You are free to kill someone and won't get punished.
