Most surveys are based on tested parameters and involve enough people to get a representative sample. The number of people who are in rapid rewards is irrelevant. They’re basing it off all people who fly. If they targeted more “high rapid rewards” members, then the results would be biased and worthless.

My wife’s friend’s husband was a Marine pilot. The first time I ever met him, the week before, I was circling DCA because of high winds, like 30 mph or something. We were waiting until it died down. The same week before he had been doing aircraft carrier landings in 50 mph winds. I said, “oh, you guys don’t wait for the wind to die down?” He just laughed.

It’s not even panicking and swerving. It’s going too fast to respond to things that normally happen while driving. You can’t always accurately judge speed in your rear view mirror. Someone changing lanes could easily cause a crash.

Anyone who thinks this, isn’t a good enough driver to pass the test. You’re not as good of a driver as you think. Plus, your speed is always putting other people at risk. Your reaction time won’t be fast enough when people are going half your speed. You do realize that no speed limits are only in certain parts of Germany? But fine, assume none of that matters. You should also be required to have every inch of your car inspected each month and forced to fix every issue before you can drive the car again. Otherwise, it’s dangerous to keep driving your car that fast.

If you take $1 million from someone who has $50 million, it doesn’t really matter. Or even $5,000 from someone making a million. …yes I realize the percentages aren’t the same, I’m assuming an increasing percentage.
