Still don't know how to study. Whilst I didn't study early enough, I did put shifts in closer to the exam dates (a day or two before?) but I never really engaged with the material. I just worked off memorising which to this day is how I live my life too. Probably contributes to the constant dread and anxiety that I feel.

Changes do not need to be rushed through. Take your time tweaking the property to your liking. Get an emergency fund ready if you haven't already.

Does it sound feasible to move to a cheaper part of the country and work part time to cover costs?

I don't think I'll be able to cope. The work is just too difficult & unnerving for me (confrontations galore) and despite trying to persevere, I was doing a terrible job.
