IT is a hundred different roles. Entry level like Helpdesk should train you up it's a good starting point. All the graduates we tool on recently want to do Cyber Security because it's fashionable.

Literally one day back from a last minute booking all inclusive holiday on Rhodes. Absolutely jam packed with elderly from many nations with walkers, sticks, etc.  People with poor mobility love all inclusive. All food and drink within easy hobbling distance of their room. Entertainment on every night.

In all honesty, do you view weight loss drugs (Mounjaro, Wegovy etc.) and the people who use them negatively?

Les Ferdinand when he played for Newcastle was seeing a minor celeb. 'He's here, he's there, he's shagging Dani Behr....'  Also Matt Richie passed his HGV test to transport his daughter's horses. Subbed on to 'he drives what he likes, he drives WGS what he likes...' 😂

Worked as a student for Presto supermarket. Got paid weekly in cash in a small plastic envelope with a pink printed payslip on a Thursday. Took that money out drinking at the weekend. It was great!

How to remove a car blocking my driveway?

Posted by trooperer@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 228 comments

Someone did this to me years ago. Just a Ford Fiesta. Bloke passing by saw and said grab the back and me and him lifted the back and chucked the car out the way of my drive. Was much easier than I expected.

To those who have made the transition from manual to automatic cars, is it really better?

Posted by Mr_Coastliner@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 1312 comments

ProgrammerFickle1469@reddit

I had an automatic back in the 1990s I was warned they were less fuel efficienct and expensive if they went wrong. Mine did thousands of miles reliably even back then. Lots of motorway driving. I loved it. Moved back to manuals for years then got an automatic a couple of years back. I won't be buying another manual. They've come on leaps and bounds.

Serious question: In what ways does the portrayal of the Dursleys’ house in Harry Potter reflect, or fail to reflect, the realities of an average British household and lifestyle?
