A friend of mine won £2m on Lotto. Not many people know except from a close group. He treats us all every now and then with cash, holidays and experiences etc. Didn’t change the bloke at all. None of us bed from him either

Mate. I used to suffer with this like crazy. Would swear through hoodies/jumpers!! Driclor is your friend. You can get it from boots. Be fucking warned it hurts like a bitch when you put it on.. but I guarantee you won’t be sweating after that. I usually reapply it every 3-4 weeks if I start noticing any sweat patches. Carry on using any normal deodorant after that

One of the more savage ones I’ve heard which is pretty safe for most scenarios is… “This is why people talk about you behind your back” Not rude or aggressive.. but will certainly get them worried about themselves and people not liking him etc.

Work in construction. Scaff was going up and a 13ft scaff pole was dropped. Missed my head and shoulder (was coming down vertically) by literal millimetres. Felt it brush past my arm. Shit me up for the next few days tbh.

13 year old does. Don’t try to moderate it because it’s pointless as she’s out in town with friends or school serves them as well. I just try to educate her and she’s pretty sensible with it as she’s very sporty. 5 year old… hell to the no.

This sucks. My mum has it and it’s one of those things that seem absolute bollocks until you’re directly affected with it. My heart goes out to you. Please remind your husband daily that you appreciate and love him. He will be having his own battles that he will be unable to voice out of concern for you. Reminding him of your love for his stone and effort supporting your family will be worth 10x the effort.

I hate to sound insensitive.. but what was going on in your life that the social deems you unfit to care for your child due to your mental health? Did you voluntarily give them up because you knew they’d be better off? If not, were they involuntarily taken from you? If so, why? If it was involuntary, what was happening in your life to get to that stage? I’m really not judging.. I know it can be fucking hard for some people. I have friends who have been in a similar situation and I really do sympathise. But I always sense there is another side to the story that the parents could’ve probably made better choices.

“This is the reason people talk about you behind your back” is a bit of a stinger. Or “Why do you do that with your hands?” Even if they don’t do anything it messes with their heads a bit and generally negates the need for a comeback

Comparison is the thief of joy. You should be focusing on yourself and bettering your situation (if you’re not happy). Jealousy solved nothing. Doesn’t even give people motivation to change. Just fills people with envy which is never helpful.

A friend of a friend won £1m on a scratch card. Was from Bournemouth. Bought a huge gaff, cars, holidays etc. Everyone knew who he was and he loved it. Apparently invested in BTC (this was around 2014/15) and from what I have heard since has made more money from that than he did his win! Fair play to him.
