The O-rings on the oil pickup get brittle from heat. It's recommended to change them. The oil pickup body is plastic and they are know to develop splits among their cavity but we're thinking 1,000,000 miles thereabouts. You will get an oil light when oil pressure drops due to either issur

Those numbers are meaningless without knowing the axle ratings. I used to haul 80k on 7 axles with a jump jeep, tandem drives and a Magnitude 55 tridem. Permit all axles to 20k (except my steer was lighter) . Just under 140,000 per the permits. Magnitude axles are rated 25k each.

You'll get used to it. And if after a year (or two) you get tired of it, that's great gig to have on your resumé. Stay with it. Take your time, don't let these plant guys tell you how to load. Tell them it had to be secured. Throw them a curve ball like "CMVE is clamping down everywhere, just waiting to cite carriers. Gotta be done according to the legislation" In fact find the stature number in the handbook for securing coils and plate stee so you can repeat it ad hoc. Always cross chains at the front of plate steel too. Put a piece of carpet where the chains touch

Any ideas on how much this is worth?

Periodically you'll need to change the screen in the burn chamber as they will eventually clog up. I keep a spare glow plug, screens, the screen removal tool (although you'll likely need a pick to get it out) and the glue plug removal tool. I use mine nightly during the winter and cold months and won't hesitate to use it ask through a reset if required. Every few years I'm changing the screen. Those adamant on maintenance will likely change it annually as there nothing worse than becoming dependent on these luxuries and then they fail for some reason. You can actually disassemble the entire unit and clean the burn chamber although I've never found this necessary. And I find the larger 4kw unit requires less maintenance than the smaller 2kw units.

Unfortunately, the Safety window that paper logs offered were overlooked by the authoritative parties that were overwhelmed by technology and a likely misinterpretation of 'lying' on paper. Yet, the constant scrutiny that those same authorities exercised at scales really kept everyone in check whilst at the same time, provided divers with "breathing room". This was beneficial across the board. From extending hours to find safe parking, to make it home when 1 more hour was needed this reducing stress in the industry, to enable reduction in speed and simply equate the driving time. The paper log served its purpose in regulating the industry and did it very, very well. Today's authorities would never admit that accidents related to speed are up as its not in the equation. Next lesson: Canadian truck speed governing negates the redundant Clessie Cummins Jacob's Compression Braking system when it's most needed in manual transmissions

Do Y'all Wanna Know About Taillights Out?

LockportTrans@reddit

I'm curious as to why you think the position of a professional driver in his career assigned position is an opportunity for your wannabe and inexperienced urges to blink your lights like the big trucks when at the utmost what you have witnessed is called "a short to ground". When you consider the significant miles put on those trucks and the hours the driver drives, up to 12,000 miles per month. Sometimes more. Hauling, as we all know, EVERYTHING, that makes society move. They're hauling the supplies you need to go to work, to do your job at work, to have your dinner when you come....essentially, he's your Mama. Imagine if he had to stop, and pull over, and explain to every knowledge seeking motorist playing elementary school hall monitor, or maybe your playing policeman, I don't know. But at the end of the day, it's not your position in society to monitor the trucking industry. He's getting his freight through. He's illuminated enough that you saw him. And if its serious enough, the CMV or Highway Patrol will stop him and cite him. These are all to common failures in an imperfect world and I'd be confident that he'll take care of the problem at the earliest convenience. And maybe he was on his way to a shop right then and there. We don't know. But if you see a truck speeding the wrong way down an interstate, only then should you flash your lights. And call the cops.

Probably one of the ugliest semis ever built hands down.

Get to the next Love's with a Tire Care, is where I'd be going. Caps are worse, but at the end of the day, tires blow. There's no indication that driver is negligent. It isn't always evident. Subsequently, 3 tires on each side of a tandem axle pair can easily carry 20,000lb for a 40,000lbs total. That's well over 34,000 legal.

I wood guess that the Megas will ask be a No Go. The risk doesn't add up. His best luck will be with a small independent. Be prepared to knock on a lot of doors. And be in debt to whomever hires him. After a few years, his past will fade into the passed.

Bupropion (Wellbutrin®)! You can't substitute nicotine for other forms of nicotine and rid yourself off the burden. Get a prescription and take it. Don't worry about the plan on the brochure. You'll quickly realize your don't like smoking. I was lighting a cigarette, taking one hour and putting it out for two weeks before I accepted that I was cured. It was all habitual. And a very weird experience.

Today I snapped and did something bad.

Through traffic keep left; carries a moral obligation of traveling at least 5mph ABOVE the speed limit. The speed racers can get around you slipping by on the right while dodging those slowing down for the right hand exit once they get over their elementary hall monitor syndrome. It's the most efficient algorithm. The roadways don't require a buckeroo attitude, but simple organization. Slow traffic keep right is rural Through traffic keep left is urban. Yes, there's two algorithms and unless there's posted signage no ones writing tickets.

You shouldn't even go into the hammer lane to let them in. Its the merging vehicle's obligation to glance into the artery of transportation they intend to join, accelerate to match the speed of same artery, set their sights upon an opening, and SEAMLESSLY merge without fanfare or interuption in the flow.
