It's early 2000's, you are getting ready to hit the clubs with your crew. What skin did you rock, and what genre was your mix?

This recent media flap about adult pacifiers like it’s never happened before.

Did your parents actually cook? I was just thinking about all the stuff we used to eat from mixes along with things like stovetop stuffing, boxed scalloped potatoes, etcetera. If I hadn't learned to cook from books, I'd still not know, let alone be able to teach anyone else.

Seth is solidly Gen X, but his references are all very Xennial. I appreciate this show more than most because I get all of the references.

This could be touchy but please read the comment for more context, I just want to see if I'm remembering wrong. When I was in HS, not only was it normal to hear about 15 and 16 year olds dating guys in their 20's, but the girls that did were "cool"

I don't, but apparently my father did and stopped taking them as a result of his mood change. Two decades later, he and my mom are making sure I take mine as he gets his second stent. He's like 160lbs soaking wet and doesn't eat much, but that genetic cholesterol will get you.

My manager will likely put me on a PIP, would it be ok if I resigned on October 1 instead?

Man, at large companies, the pip itself requires multiple bad reviews, then as a manager you spend three months working with HR to outline the program, then the pip itself is like another six months before you can actually terminate. It's at least a year long process.

But that's objectively the best megaman. In the early 90s I made it my mission to get the code for every possible combination of boss victories, and yes, I could easily beat Quick Man without Time Stop. I was a twelve year old god back then, what happened?

I saw a YouTube thing about a mall that had stores on the first level and converted apartments on the higher floors. It was a pretty cool concept, tbh. Boston, maybe?

You go to Papa John's, you put in the order for two large pizzas. There's a Blockbuster in this strip mall, so you go pick out a movie or game, and then you go back to Papa John's, and wouldn't you know it, you walk in exactly as they take your pizza out of the oven. You get a Surge to celebrate. Life is fucking great.

Graduation night was insane. At least 100 people at this girl's house, cheap beer and Zima (throwback!) everywhere. It was absolutely just like the movies of the time - Can't Hardly Wait comes to mind.

I'm taking the plunge and trying schooling again at 38 (almost 39) years old.
