This could be touchy but please read the comment for more context, I just want to see if I'm remembering wrong. When I was in HS, not only was it normal to hear about 15 and 16 year olds dating guys in their 20's, but the girls that did were "cool"

Now obviously, any 20+ year old guy dating an underage girl, that's sick. So this post isn't making the point that it was *cool* then but isn't now. It was never cool. But am I remembering wrong that when we were in high school it wasn't uncommon and largely not made a big deal of? I remember vividly asking out one girl my sophomore year and she told me she was dating a guy that was 22. Apparently everyone knew it too and thought she was cool for it. That's just one experience but I feel like it was way more common cuz I remember my 15 year old brain not thinking oh creepy, but just being like aw man these older guys are stealing all our girls lol. Nowadays, I've seen online an 18 yo get called a pdf for dating a 16 yo. We're gonna have a different perspective now because many of us are on the other side and have kids of our own this age. But I'm trying to tap into what your perspective/experience was when you were that age? Ladies, did you ever date a college age or older guy when you were 15 or have friends that did? Guys, did you run into a lot of girls that did so?
