Back in my late teens early 20’s I called my Mom two times after walking home from a party because I was feeling so lonely not meeting any woman, and feeling lost in life. A few years later we were sitting at dinner and she started laughing about it with her cousins. Felt really bad man.

I actually thought starfield was going to be shit. I just knew that their rinse and repeat formula wouldn’t translate well into a space game, especially one that had some computer generated aspects as well as base building. You can tell base building really got in the way of what fallout 4 should have been, and although I enjoyed Fallout 4, it didn’t live up to the legacy of NV.

My mom just sold her family home her parents finalized the purchase on the day she was born. She lost it because her credit was too bad, her loser boyfriend didn’t contribute shit, she moved into a trailer on my brother’s rented land. My Dad let his 20 year life insurance bounce about 5 years ago and cancelled it. He’s living in a house his boomer mother owns, and when she dies he will have to split it with his 4 other siblings, I doubt he will end up with the house, or any real inheritance himself.

There’s definitely something to the dual income side of things. If women and men are working then society will start charging double because there’s double the money coming in. This is the reason that the 50’s and 60’s were so cheap. Inflation is as high as it is, because it’s expected that there’s a dual income of 120k+ a year for big life choices such as houses and vehicle purchases. If your family is only making 60k you aren’t in a position to live right anymore.

My grand father used to get a steak, marinate it for 2 days in the fridge in a ziplock with some sort of marinade. And then he would cook it for 30 seconds on each side just to get it warm, and he would eat it. This is what his steaks looked like.

I think if they didn’t wana push out the movies as fast as possible we may have gotten a cohesive story at least. It really felt like JJ had a decent setup for 8 and then the new director said “nah I don’t want to do his trilogy, I wana do what I want” and then went ahead and made the worst Star Wars movie which is episode 8. And then JJ was kinda left to pick up the pieces. They made a big deal about Rey’s parentage, and then the next director was like “nope, they were nobody, don’t worry about it” and then they had to pick up those pieces.

Man world of warcrafts lore really fucking tanked after legion. The word is that the alcoholic predator really pushed the story to go in the direction it went after legion. He just basically went “well Sylvanas was behind wrathgate” and then everyone went “huh?” And then they just continued with this horrible narrative, and then decided to undermine everything that ever happened in the story with this big bad super titan character, and the whole community went “but why?” And they were like “cause we said so you fucking idiots” and then they say they’re bewildered they couldn’t pick up the pieces.

But legitimately hostess went bankrupt a few years ago, and the company that bought them, cut costs on all their product lines, and all of these became so much grosser then they ever were. So we remember them more fondly because they were better.

My Dad turned 61 this year. His mom is still living, and I’m starting to think my grandma might outlive him and his brothers. My mom’s parents lived to the ripe old ages of 50, and 63 so it’s crazy to see my parents hitting those milestones. I know it’s kinda dumb. But I think my parents working at these ages has kept them alive. My Mom’s Dad retired at 48 (worked 30 years and retired, the lucky asshole, I’m told he was extremely abusive) and my Mom’s mom retired at 52.

The first time this happened to me it couldn’t be any more obvious this is what was happening. I was in grade 9 about a month into high school. Well I was put into a class with a girl that was like a high school 6/10 and we always talked flirty. And then one day I helped her with her computer at school and she went “oh shamscam, you’re so nice, I should reward you with a blow job”. And then I went “ya you should” and then didn’t speak to her again… In my defence this was right at the start of high school, and high school movies made me think this sort of thing would happen all of the time. It didn’t happen. I have some other very obvious stories of things that happened to me, none quite as obvious as this one.

One time my friend and I went over to my buddies house cause he wasn’t answering, and we were like “no way he has any other friends he’s chilling with”.
