I can find 40k mile z06s for under 40 all day in near factory condition around me. I’m not saying the z06 is a perfect car but for the price a new brz is going for that car is at the bottom of my list. It’s too slow, too cramped of an interior, looks goofy, and handles just ok

Don’t get an 06-08 or find the million 06-08s with valve guide work already done to them? At the end of the day it’s an SBC they’re not a fundamentally flawed engine like Subaru boxers. Similar weight, manual, much more enjoyable powertrain, same price. What’s the issue

Plugins are the word of both worlds. You’re lugging around either a useless engine or a useless battery, you still have to service the ice engine, etc. going straight to EV is the right choice in the long run. People just gotta get over their range anxiety, especially when they think they drive more than that really do

They went away because they were a compromise between the asinine lighting standards that the Feds required and designers wanting wedge shapes. If composite and projector LEDs existed in the 70s-90s I guarantee popups would have never existed. They’re also unreliable, heavy, and ugly
