None. I have spent all my life here so everything is second nature. I have also spent time in the US and Japan via work and I'd say our ability to take the piss out of very real problems I'm involved in railway contracts. Primarily in the UK. You fuck up in the UK and it's open season, your colleagues, pals, family are all in on the rib. Honest mistake, you live, you learn In other countries these things may be career changing shame. The difference between the world opening up for you and your name/org becoming blacklisted Personally the best result I have ever had from work is that of a contractor who was completely honest in his own ideas and intentions. That's both good and bad but in UK politics it's like nothing I have ever experienced

If you could chose someone to represent us at Eurovision who?

A best of of a relatively short lived show. It's not like they're recapping top gear from 2005. I'm not surprised there's an audience for them idly chatting mind, perhaps I'm just not the level of super fan others here are.

Out Of Touch so I can pretend I'm playing Vice City. When my wife drives I play only 80s metal on the motorway because she's terrifying. 83mph in a tiny Kia Picanto riding the arse of Range Rovers while Painkiller by Judas Priest plays. Usually a very timid women. Lunatic behind the wheel

I used to work for Burberry and could get all of their clothes for the price you'd spend at Next. Bought a good bit of it then felt absolutely ridiculous wearing it. The clothes themselves are nice, good quality and I only ever bought understated stuff but the idea you're wearing an £800 hoodie is insane. Like your flexing having more money than sense.

If you're eating healthy it's actually very difficult to eat 2500 calories of fruit, vegetables, pulses, lean meat. It's just that fat is delicious

I fucking love Miami Vice. I was born after it ever aired but loved GTA Vice City so much and never realised the entire thing (down to specific missions) is a Miami Vice tribute. S1 to 3 are brilliant, it gets very very bad very quickly after that. I may own a white linen suit

Malaga? It's a city but compared to London it's uninhabited. Porto has travellable beaches and its a beautiful city. If youre after not a city at all AND not a resort I think youll have to say good bye to the beach bit. Brittany is more rugged but it will be beautiful, potter about some small towns with wine in one hand and bread in the other. Or just go sit on a beach in bulgaria and get mortal.

Its really interesting how personally attacked people feel by this. My wording comes from a less than small amount of family, lost friends who have gone full cant get a job, wont leave the house recluse because they believe absolutely everything is too much. So they stay at home, rely on families to fund their inability to deal with anything 'real' such as bills, weekly shops. Its an alarming amount of people I know in that exact situation and I dont know enough if its the crushing grimness of the world, spending too much time online, looking for excuses but anybody who wants to tell me 'it was always like this' or 'its better now' dont have a leg to stand on. Being 34 and relying on a partner and parents to allow you to feed yourself and turn the heating is when you absolutely need to get up and get on with it.

Are there any good chocolate in the UK now that isn't just chocolate-flavoured palm oil?

Posted by EffectiveArgument584@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 1432 comments

If youre getting into conversations with people who like chocolate about chocolate the flavoured/loaded with x isnt it. It's generally done because their product isnt as high quality and to cut cost. I like Tony's. Some of their flavours are fun and its thick but its not miles off a Yorkie.

2 weeks? Japan probably. First class trains everywhere, country is so well connected that two weeks could get you to mostly anything you want. If it was 4 weeks I'd do some South America trip.
