I only drive half hour down the road and back but yes. I’ll put something in the boot. I’ve a new car so it’s only got food shopping bags in it at the moment.

No she is a size 8 so cold a lot. So size doesn't come into it. As in... how she feels about being over or underweight. And as a size 20 myself I cannot agree that coats have ever been forgiving. I look like i have a pea head on a huge body haha

Peugeot 107. We buy any car said £400. Bloke down the road who sells small ones offered £300 and he only glanced at it. Someone on fb said £500. I’m going with the notion it’s worth what someone is willing to pay for it. It’s a runaround. My brother had the same one when he was doing delivery driving.

I was going to but my insurance runs out tonight on it and so we get no traffic here where I live. And my neighbours already know. Yeah I am slightly leaning on Autotrader. Obvs can do both

I’ve been driving it 2 years and only ever had a little welding and 2 tires on. It’s perfect for what it is. And yeah MOT was done in feb so plenty of time left. I have no idea but I was expecting the fast turnaround to be a week. And it’s been 2 I think 😂

Yes my mate just said that. But her buyer cancelled so it wasn’t paid. She still sold it to him but I’m sure most people do that.

Have you ever been to a clairvoyant, tarot reading and were they accurate?

Yes and all shit. They are scammers I’m sure. The best thing I ever did was a past life regression and even that is questionable. But there was no denying the meditative state I was in. Some people claim to have great results like my mum but I dunno. Mine are all horrendous. I think I’ve been about 4/5 times. I think it’s like playing the lottery, a bit of 5 minute fun but don’t expect anything life changing to come of it

How often do you change your vacuum bag or empty it?

Posted by fernofry@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 36 comments

BigMagic88@reddit

I’ve done that. But it went back to manky. I think it’s the bags. It’s the Miele that whiffs. I got cheap bags. Maybe it’s that. I’ll change it either way. Or I’ve sucked up something really minging 😂

When it’s full usually but it stinks for some reason so I’ll give it a fresh one. I meant to do it last week but didn’t. I’ve got a Miele and a Henry. I prefer the bags. Seeing all that grot makes me feel weird

Probably not sketchers. Mine were like that. Hot and burning after a few hours. But also could be cos I wasn’t used to standing. So if you’re new to the job your feet may also just need a little bit of adjustment time. Another job I worked at the post office once around Xmas time and I wore croc welly type things. They don’t make that particular style now but they were the best things. I was on my feet all night and they were so comfy. Apart from getting that crusty foot infection thing 😂 Are you allowed to wear crocs? Don’t know what the rules are but they are by far the best thing I’ve ever worn for hours on end.

Yeah he’s on my list and Jason Stephenson too but way too long sometimes. I need it to cut off but not paying for YouTube anymore. Fall asleep in 15 minutes with a 3 hour video 😂 I’ll try as well then. If something bugs me within 30 seconds it’s off

I had some a few months back. Apparently so after a little google. Think we need to hoover a little more. I did a proper blitz and not seen any since but I’m sure they will come back at some point. I currently have a pet spider from having the garden doors open. Can’t relax now 😵

Not me but an ex client - he offered me a cup of tea. He was working from home. I said no I’m ok thanks I don’t drink hot drinks then he told me how one man at the office drank multiple drinks at the office even though he didn’t like them. And then a coffee ban was put on 😂 Some of that frugal lot are mentally unwell. Not just cautious with money.

I want something to send me off. Instead of my own thoughts. To relax me. If you have no idea what I’m talking about then thank yourself lucky you don’t need to spend hours in bed spiralling every single night for years on end. This is just a calming and distracting way to get to sleep. I’m not looking to learn anything or educate myself. Just relax into sleep

Yes. The same voice on hundreds of channels. But I do like that voice. Out of a lot of them it’s nice for me. Yeah anything I want to hear I do during the day. I like to nod off to anything random so I won’t be upset when I’ve missed half of it

Can’t find it now. I’ve been using brave browser and not logged in to my account. But the one I listened to the other night was 2 sisters who had chained their brother up in the loft cos he had killed the parents. I was quite into that. But I’ve searched macabre and it seems lots of the same thing over and over. I was watching the kids horrible histories while I was on the treadmill last week

Dinner vouchers? Most people like to go out for a little something now and then. And you’re not choosing for him as such. Food and drinks is hard cos if he doesn’t like it you’ve wasted money and he’s stuck with something he doesn’t want. If it’s the thought that counts then a nice card is plenty. No shitty gifts required. - ex service provider. We got tonnes chocolates and Prosecco at Xmas. I never liked that shite. I was happy with the cash though. But that’s weird to give to an older man

Yes they are there to manage but also some are so shit and it’s clear as day they are in the wrong job 😂 If you want a decent review thing then I think you need to leave things reasonably well but you do you. Line a job up first because it’s pretty dire out there. Might be easier to have a chat about it first.

Don’t leave the bath running and wear headphones. Don’t throw things out of the windows. Be nice to your neighbours and hopefully they will be too. Start your little routines - stick a note on the wall til you have the habits. Lock the doors. Turn things off. Etc. Clean the whole place once a week at least. I used to do a 2 hour blitz on a Sunday. It was manageable. If you don’t have a tumble dryer be sure to check the laundry thread to assist cos sometimes it’ll just smell gross - keep a window open for fresh air. Cactus plants are great. A client bought me one and I’ve had it the best parts of 10 years. 🌵 Have fun. It’s exciting and for the love of god make sure you have all your bills money set aside. Nothing like having 8 days to whip up nearly a grand! 😩😂

Usually whenever I can be arsed at any point before I go out but… I’ve been eating chia seeds for the past few days so I either need to remember to do it after or keep a stick handy. They are infuriating when you spend 30 mins trying to get them out but actually pushing them deeper 😂

Oh! Thank you. Will give those a whirl. I like what I’ve got but I’ll ask doc as well but I think they aren’t Meant to be for long term use but it seems silly to stop If they work. I was worried it getting addicted but apparently you can’t. Just dependent on them. Either way I like them

Ladies of the UK, do you use Period Underwear?

BigMagic88@reddit

Yes. Ideally. Have a few pairs. It’s a disgusting feeling for me. Use your own common sense on how it would work for you. The same as a babies nappy. You wouldn’t leave that on for hours. Everyone’s flow is different so it’s a personal choice
