Mine ended with an 8 year relationship with the woman I thought I was going to marry, ending on Christmas Day 1999, in a country 5,000 miles away from home; after I got kicked out of her family's home and spent Christmas in a freezing hotel room. Yes, I could feel the 90s ending.

"Ain't Nobody" by Chaka Khan. I was too much of a pimply teenaged snob to get my nose out of the Depeche Mode album sleeves to see how amazing that song is. Hell, a lot of her 80s output was "tough" *(as my Gen Alpha daughter likes to say).*

AI is a scrape engine. Shit in, shit out. It's also an indiscriminate thief. AND, it's eating up civic resources. We're all paying for it while the CEO fucks make money hand over fist; using shocking amounts of our electricity and water that WE subsidize by way of bullshit surcharges added to our bills. So not only do they steal our electricity, water, data, jobs, but we're all subsidizing AI. FUCK AI.

First period was US history, taught by a burned out semi-drunk quasi-racist. I had a habit of coming to class late; parent left for work before I woke and came home after bed, so breakfast, making lunch, getting ready, walking to school took time. The day before Christmas Break, I ambled into class after the bell rang. He looked at me and barked, "Are you going to come into class late every day?!" "Not for the next 2 weeks." He turned red as a beet, and told me to sit my ass down, but that was it. No other repercussions.
