No one gives a shit. It's a pub sometimes I pop in for one at lunch time or on the way home or just cos there's nothing to do at home in the evening. Or if I'm meeting up with the lads I get there early just to enjoy one or two before the carnage that will follow later. Also we don't think twice about having a can or 2 in the train

Its £7 in my village pub! Its bloody disgusting when I was 18 (20 years ago) it was about £2.30 for the same beer but they keep adding tax on and upping the over heads!

I was in one on a country lane 3rd car in line police had shut road couldn't turn round as there was a queue of cars behind so had to sit there for an hour while they cleaned up what was left of a motorbike. I assume the rider survived or else it would have been shut all night

I worked until recently in the fresh veg industry and yes the quality is getting worse. The supermarkets want more at lower costs so what they do is set specifications for each veg ie leeks have to be xzy long and ABC wide and are allowed so many defects. Over the last 5 years they have been changing what they will accept so veg we use to bin or send for animal feed is now being sold in the shops

Stop right there, we do not speak the same language. The Americans speak a similar language. And I feel closer to European countries as we have a shared history going back before time itself. Also the yanks are so backwards in how they do things example health care, drinking rules, firearms rules, driving. I could go on
