A Wisconsin Car Dealer's Niche Business: Selling the 2004-2006 Lexus LS 430

I had a 2006 LS430, it was a very nice and comfortable car, a bit boring, and definitely not cheap to repair. Also rust is a huge issue if you don't buy one that lived its whole life in a rust-free area.

I've shipped both open and enclosed, the extra cost for enclosed is worth it. Last car I shipped open came with a cracked windshield.

Anyone here remember the CFCs thing in the 90s when you weren't supposed to use hair sprays because they emitted them; did they fix all that then? I mean is that why we don't hear about it now?

I've read that Malaysia is supposed to be one of the better locations for retirement. Lots of English usage, and relatively affordable.

Kuhn Rikon LidLifter is what you want, it pierces the seal around vertical face of the seal versus cutting into the to of the can. The result is that there are no sharp edges and the top of the can simply lifts off versus falling into the can. https://a.co/d/5qhR6k4

The 2025 Cadillac Celestiq Is a $400,000 American Rolls-Royce

You're right, but cost shouldn't be a consideration in a car like this. Make it special and charge appropriately, does 500K vs 400K really matter if the interior has switches like a Pagani, for example? And writing "standard of the world" on the fasteners is just cheezy as hell, IMO!

I was invited to a quail shoot at a very fancy club in the south, sitting around at night drinking with some of the other people there made me realized that spending 100 or 200K on a shotgun was like buying a burger for these guys. It was really quite eye opening. That being said, most of those guns are incredibly desirable, so it's not like one couldn't easily sell them if one wanted, they retain value.

I just had a corolla rental with 45K miles on it, and it was great. Decent power, super basic inside, as opposed to all the typical new car electronic bullshit, great gas mileage, steering was still tight after 45K rental miles, suspension was adequately compliant.

Radar / Police Detectors

Posted by InterestingCabinet41@reddit | Xennials | View on Reddit | 33 comments

dissaver@reddit

They work nearly really well, the newer models have crazy range, GPS memory capabilities, rear, side, and forward facing detection, you can easily block the alerts for garage door openers, automatic doors, etc. Can't beat laser though without a jammer. But most states I've been to don't really use laser, just ka band. Waze is no substitute at all.

It's wild to see how much they've changed, ages 35 to 55-ish in their respective years...

Oh interesting! I appreciate that recommendation. I don't think I iron enough for it to break that quickly, but I will definitely check that out if it does. I've heard Naomoto is really good, as are most things manufactured in Japan, however they seem way too expensive for casual use.

They have a sister product called Super Slick Slick Stuff that is also sold at Lowe's and is an excellent lubricant. Word on the street is that Safari Charlie is more or less the same product. The original lube was designed for garage door tracks and comes highly recommended from people in that industry. Long story short, the Super Slick Slick Stuff is a great lube, that I have used for many purposes around the house, I wouldn't use it on guns personally (I prefer Weapon Shield), but I don't see why it or Safari Charlie wouldn't work.

No prob, it works well! Also you don't have to own the car to add the vin to your garage, you can do that to get the maintenance history for cars for sale that don't have a carfax for free on the listing.
