Thank you! If there's an application where I can put it on my calendar to make it events & such, that'd be awesome. Just looking for routine/DIY car maintenance.

You might like this project I built for exactly that kind of workflow:
https://valueinvestingsoftwarefree.github.io/CarMaintenanceSoftware/
It’s free, offline-first, and focused on car maintenance tracking, service history, reminders, expenses, and long-term vehicle organization.
And if you have ideas or feedback, I’m always open to improving it further based on real user needs.

I recently launched an app for tracking maintenance on cars, homes, appliances, boats, lawn mowers & heavy equipment, etc.
The app also can track fill-ups or charges.
It has an integration with Tesla vehicles to automatically pull in charge records and energy usage on drives.
It will auto suggest maintenance schedules, learn your maintenance history, and uses AI to advise on various maintenance related tasks or repairs. It lets you upload user and service manuals, indexes them and uses that information to answer questions specific to your asset.
You can even share assets and maintenance logs with others, who can also view and maintain, such as a mechanic, family member, etc.
The app/website is https://upkeephq.app . You can install it on any Android or iPhone directly from the website on your phone browser (dedicated app not yet on the marketplace).

Autozis has this, it is a car service tracker app, it has a maintenance plan feature, it comes with some sane defaults, but really you can find your owner's manual and/or your specific vehicle needs, and set it up. You can then set up reminders based on these, and it's all wired up so you can have an history of everything. Pretty good.

I am looking for an app that has a device along with it. Id like to install a device in each of my vehicles that tracks milage real time in the app. Then would allow me to set up service reminders at various milage milestones. That way I don't have to go out to each vehicle every couple days, note their milage, cross check with my various lists of required maintenence for each vehicle.
I found Moto Watchdog on Amazon, it looks this might be a solution plus it has GPS tracking in the event your vehicle is ever stolen along with accident notifications outside of Onstar. Can anyone confirm this device works this way? Can't find a good review on it currently.

hey I'm looking for the same thing. What did you end up doing?

Look up the maintenance schedule for your vehicle, and enter the events into your phone calendar. Set a few reminders for each event.

Man, I'm glad that yours was top comment, but this practical way of thinking will soon be dead. OP has a goddamn supercomputer in their hands that can access the entirety of human knowledge, but still needs to ask reddit for a shortcut. I recall using card catalogs in libraries. The amount of quit in people nowadays is jarring.
Skywardly@reddit
Lmao for real, relax, this is exactly what reddit is for--asking other enthusiasts and experts for advice. I fear you may have misunderstood the internet.
professorgravitas@reddit (OP)
That's what the internet is for, asking for shortcuts. You need a chill pill dude.

carfax.com has a maintenance tracker functionality, you put your vin(s) into it and it will track everything for you. this is also a free way of getting carfax maintenance history. Score!!

exAvenue@reddit
That's actually huge, thanks for that.
dissaver@reddit
No prob, it works well! Also you don't have to own the car to add the vin to your garage, you can do that to get the maintenance history for cars for sale that don't have a carfax for free on the listing.

I use an app to track fuel mileage but it has service stuff too. Very handy since it knows your mileage along with time. I have many service reminders. https://www.fuel.io/
