It’s a super cheap way to go long distances, but it kind of sucks to do.

8 hours a day as long as those 8 hours cover the core 9-3:30 hours. So 7-3:30 works, as well as 9-5:30.

Use bright blue food coloring injected into jelly donuts. Should be safe enough and out the responsible party.
Won’t stop them from trying to claim you poisoned them, though, so watch out for that.
