So what's your overall opinion on AI?

Remember don't just trust that answer either. It surprises me how many people just read the AI summary and leave it at that. Like I get it, so easy right? Even the kids I work with who tell me they hate AI were baffled when I showed them how to scroll down and search for a real answer not just one the machine wants you to know. They had just accepted you type in a query and AI gives you the answer. I'm like what do you think a search engine does (ok, is supposed to do)? You could just pull up a chat bot if you wanted an AI generated response, why bother opening a search engine at all? It baffles me how quickly people have learned to rely on whatever their magic box of tricks tells them. I did not ask for this damn AI overview and you can't turn it off anything these days. Try [the disenshittification Konami code](https://udm14.com/) instead 🤘

Let's focus on our formative years (high school/college)

Chris Cornell always 🤘 Also, I *love* [this version](https://youtu.be/-Lo9f3knk5w?si=1bUXqmjXAEy9x1ew) by Dead Letter Circus. Kinda gives me Chris Cornell vibes, similar to his 'Billy Jean' cover.

A daily game that tests if your Xennial brain can actually tell 1996 apart from 2005. Similar to board game Hitster.

Loved this so much! Took me a minute to work out there was sound though! https://preview.redd.it/nhv1aavqjexg1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=129ee3f59028da376a8486165d839f8e14062f26

Name two of your favorite movies from back in the day. One that has aged like a fine wine, and one that we no longer speak of

American Psycho gets this treatment too. I get so frustrated when I mention I really enjoyed it, and they everyone looks at me like I'm one of those 'red flag' guys you shouldn't date. I'm not a dude 🙄 I really wish people could have their own opinions and thoughts, or at least be curious and have a conversation about things. I'm really pleased we are all having this conversation about American Beauty here, because I also really enjoyed this film and am really sick of people lately missing the point of it.

Do you call yourself a Xennial or Millennial?

Gen Y for sure. Millennial just never feel right to me. Proudly Xennial now though, cause I like being part of this little micro generation of being able to remember the before and after times.

What do you still do that's "analog"?

What bizarre children's VHS tape did you have an attachment to?

The Land Before Time. Lol, we watched that so much the tape stretched. And yes, I've been in therapy for years haha! Also, my Nanna has a VHS compilation of really old school cartoons with Felix the Cat, Betty Boop, Casper the Friendly Ghost and Popeye. Some of them were in black and white, but we loved it

Curious if this is a xennial thing or a me thing...
