Using AI to facilitate programming

Posted by AssumptionVast4395@reddit | learnprogramming | View on Reddit | 25 comments

WirelessWavetable@reddit

Did you just Google search AI failures? Only 2 of those links are about AI code. And many of those links don't even mention what version of the models they are talking about. Both of the coding links mention AI improves efficiency and the models are rapidly improving. One of the links even says that the majority of AI coding errors can be found within 3 minutes with tests while the human errors take significantly longer to find. Why don't ya find some actual users of AI coding tools and link their feedback about the tools? Nothing says AI is as incorrect as you make it seem.

I'd really like to see your information on how you think AI is so incredibly incorrect. There's a 26-year senior Dev on this thread commenting he almost never writes code anymore. There's thousands of people developing apps and websites with AI and I don't see them posting on r/sideproject asking why their AI tools are always getting things wrong.

Except AI can read thousands of lines of code very fast and tell you what you did wrong without you or someone manually reading all those lines. And it can give you feedback and criticism way faster than any teacher or self help course can.

The helicopter was higher than they were supposed to be. If they were lower like the helicopter's flight instructor (lead?) said they should be then it wouldn't of happened.

More like Iran operates several A340 and due to sanctions each plane is essentially full of critical parts that they swap between airframes for repairs. Destroying one reduces their ability to keep others flying.

The video is interesting. It goes behind the trees and you hear a loud noise and the sound of the plane changes. Then you see the plane reappear and it's starting a left bank with altitude loss.

More than likely they were refuelling the other plane and accidentally got some dramatic oscillations like [this video](https://youtu.be/sliypXJWFAU?si=A6L3QJOIQGxiAZ9s) . The top half of the vertical stabilizer was ripped off of the plane who made it back.

It sounds like you're assuming only one engine? I believe the rotors will decouple so there will be three three turbo jet engines. And it looks like the center turbine might be afterburning.

If you're so curious, you can go look at documentaries about that time. The decision making in Japanese leadership is documented. Here's a video you can watch instead of maintaining your willful ignorance: https://youtu.be/i65m-EFtSwQ?si=T6T-cx_KMaLUxXkw

Do some research about the Japanese regime at that time. It's well documented that they wanted to conquer the region and surrendering was not an option to them due to their ancient warrior morals and beliefs. If the US didn't answer they would have continued their conquest.

Looks like this is just left rudder while falling? Pretty basic prop plane maneuver. Post a pic of this plane doing something that looks like a plane shouldn't be able to do.

You're wrong because you're not thinking about what would have happened if the war continued on. There's another comment on this thread saying his grandpa was on a ship about to do a boots on the ground invasion in Japan.

WirelessWavetable@reddit

The CF6 engine has a history of stage 2 compressor disc failing. It's not a simple deduction because the engine was violently on fire before pylon separation. The simple deduction is that engine failure caused vibrations which eventually caused the pylon failure, like the pylon is designed to do.

The engine was violently on fire before separation. Most likely it was an engine failure which induced insane vibrations due to the unbalance which broke the pylon. The stage 2 compressor disc has a history of exploding on these engines.
