What food places/items do you now refuse to buy that you used to regularly enjoy because of price or quality?

KFC - the quality has plummeted since Covid and it's exorbitantly priced for what it is. The restaurants are invariably filthy (don't get me started on the toilets). I also hate how so many of their sites are halal, even in non-Muslim areas.

Young people, how much money have you saved?

Posted by iloveminimuffins@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 265 comments

No_Calligrapher9732@reddit

My advise would be to start small, and gradually increase. So even if saving just £10 a week for a year, then wokr up to £15-20 a week by the time you're 20-21 will make a huge difference. I'd also recommend starting a pension as soon as possible.

Did anyone else's primary have several " problem children" in their class?

Posted by Loose_Avocado4670@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 107 comments

No_Calligrapher9732@reddit

Quite a few with special needs but not necessarily disruptive. There was one lad who was in my class around 1991 who had a neurological condition and had to wear some device with sensors connected to his brain - about two years ago he was caught by a vigilante paedophile hunting group trying to meet children he'd been messaging online.

Living in London and having visited New York twice, I don't find they share much similarity. OK, Canary Wharf is a little bit like Manhattan, but that's about as far as it goes.
