Has anyone actually been taken to court for not paying a PRIVATE parking fine?

I've just had one come through for a beach where I stayed 25 minutes in the evening. I've never paid a private fine and have never heard anything further, but I know they can take you to court but it's probably not worth the effort for them. Has anyone actually been taken to court for not paying a **private** parking fine?
Of course I always pay Council and Gov fines...
