Do you consider it socially acceptable to get your eyes tested at the opticians, just to get hold of the prescription and buy your glasses online?

I'm talking about buying from places that are much cheaper than high street opticians, like Goggles4u! Is this acceptable, because you've paid for a test, and we don't owe them anything more than that, and how else can you get your prescription? Or the lowest of the low? Is it even worse if you get a discounted eye test deal?!? What do you think, and do?! And how do you negotiate that awkward, "please give me a copy of the prescription, I'll have a think on the frames" moment?!? 🤣
