Yes you’re right. It was a bit mean. I don’t really care whether my burger is freshly made or not. Maybe just the “akshually” brigade got my back up a bit.

Am I the only person who doesn’t like desserts?

> I’d much rather get some actual food, like a burger and chips. You know many people eat dessert after the proper food. We can have both! It’s not a replacement. But otherwise, you’re not the only person. A colleague revealed the same thing last week. I went “hmmm” and then thought no more of it.

The Bible is irrelevant because OP has written their own scenario using existing characters. It’s just more fanfic. A bit wacky, and missing a lot of detail, but not anything anyone can actually give an answer to, because it’s too heavy for us to imagine such a scenario. Unless they’re already doing the naughty stuff.

Yeah. It’s absolutely that. More wow when they first came out and smartphones were smaller. I bought mine to draw with, using the Apple Pencil. Phones come no where near in that aspect. I don’t do anything else with it. The rest is pointless for me.

Well, tell us what each person has said! Did the scissor user call the knife user a savage? Or does the pizza cutter person insist no one uses anything else? We need to know who to root for or who in your household has an insane opinion.

When people are telling me something and they, "um" and "uh" all the way through it, its like needles in my brain. What do people do that's the same for you?

I do yeah. And I understand it bugs you. It bugged me too. So I was just offering a bit of help. There’s a lovely old saying or quote or something that says we can’t often change things, we can only change how we react to things. And I’ve found implementing that massively helpful in my life. You didn’t want my idea, and I can’t argue it into you, so I said toodle pip. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

You can make peace with this like I did if you take it as hyperbole. So it’s kind of like a little paradox of a word. Hyperbole is meant to be an exaggeration, and using the word ‘literally’ helps someone do that.

Since my comment I’ve realised Great Bristish Burger was possibly just a south Wales restaurant and not widely known. It was a very 80s restaurant and my comment was a bit of a joke.

I think I was in my teens when I realised the car brand that people were talking about – “Mer-say-deez”, and the words I had seen written down that I read as Merkadess Benz were one and the same.
