I loved my church youth group. The pastor was wonderful, we did a lot, and I had really good friends. I stopped going to church when I was a freshman in high school, but stayed friends with some of the people until after college.

No. My dog is the love of my life. I'm a 52 year old woman going through a divorce and literally starting from scratch after years of mental, physical, and financial abuse. I also treated my body like a carnival ride for 20 some years. No one wants this and I'm not sure I want anyone ever again.

Customer service at a decking manufacturer. The boss was terrible. Evil. Mean girl. However, it was the retail customers who called that were the worst. For instance, they'd want to make warranty claims on decking they had open fires on because it scorched and melted the boards. One customer berated me for not being able to explain how much less slippery our decking was than other brands. He didn't want the, "ridiculous scientific nonsense" I used to reclaim it to him. He wanted to know how many fewer slippery units the decking was using banana peels as the baseline. I am not joking. I gave up.

I do not, but I have an ink dot on my hip from a lunatic artist I used to date who tried to tattoo his initials on me while I slept.

I worked in operations at one of the airlines involved. There wasn't a dry eye in that room that day, or for many going forward for a long time.

With rich boomer parents comes great longevity via extreme and expensive measures to sustain life. I think their data analysis neglected that and a few other key aspects of our current social system.

Remember in the 80's, your parents would watch I Dream of Jeanie, and we thought "man this stuff is so old..."

I work at a hardware store with great music - mostly classic rock with deep cuts thrown in. Joy Division was on Sunday's Playlist. Great for me, but fairly out of context for the setting. It led to some good conversation about the roots of alternative music.

I went to completely the wrong college academically and was depressed, unproductive, and disengaged because of it, leaving with a crap degree and mediocre GPA that didn't do much for me. But I have lifelong friends who are my family 30-odd years later. We bonded through adventures, all nighters, all-consuming passions of varying sorts, traumas, tragedies, music, humor, and mutual appreciation for each others' unique identities (I entered college at 16, so they were patient as mine developed) and intellects. We're still tightly knit as we've been through all of life's changes. There are about 30 of us who travel from all corners to see each other at least twice a year. I would never change it.
