Most Americans underestimate their local heat risk: People rely on past weather and lived experience, but climate change is pushing heat risk beyond what many communities recognize. Many rural, older, and higher-poverty US counties face serious heat risk with little public awareness

The problem is parsing need for instant gratification from technological progress that enables more efficient delivery. When the automatic dish washer was created, was it instant gratification? I agree with the second part of your post, but I'm not sure it is cause and effect. I think the destruction of the education system is chief amongst the causes of our current downward trend.

Don't get sad. That's how they win. Get f&\*king mad! If you can and have the time, get to the streets with other like minded people. If you live in a blue state, pressure your electeds to gerrymander the state. The left needs to go nuclear to clean out the subhuman filth that the right has become. They want political war, they are not going to like it when the left actually wakes up.

My dad worked with farmers, yes they think they can grow infinite. He claimed that there are under developed pieces of land that can be cultivated. The problem with conservative mindsets, is that they live in the now. There is no forethought. Sure you can have a tax cut now, but your children pay for it. Sure, you can grow that there now, but land is finite.

If your cpu has a integrated graphical processor, you can plug it into the motherboard, but its a bit fiddly. First you need to install windows using your gpu ports and then install drivers for both the igpu and dgpu. Then tell windows which gpu to use for which applications. Then you can plug into the motherboard GPU.

What does Windows have that's better than Linux?

Posted by Comfortable_Good8860@reddit | linux | View on Reddit | 1809 comments

Competitive_Shock783@reddit

Windows has the ability to not dismount usb drives consistently. It has many menus that all do the same thing, but are inconsistently named. It sends tons of data back to the mothership, using up you monthly allotment of data if you have a cap. I could go on and on, but it has a ton of "features" that linux doesn't.
