Correct it's not common knowledge but most terrorist plots are foiled because they name their explosive devices "bomb" & airline crews react to this obvious threat & deal with it on the ground quietly.

Reminds me of when I first got on reddit. Somebody picked an argument with me over something I said. They were comically wrong so I looked at their post history to try & work out if they were trolling or what & it was literally hundreds of pictures to a sub that was something like r/micropenis

My MIL brings all the food that was about to go out of date from her fridge & loads it into ours whenever she comes to stay & then the wife scolds me that it doesn't get eaten when it goes gross a day after she leaves.

My school had about half the internet blocked, couldn't even access msn as the IT administrator was adamant about protecting us from the content there. Rotten was one of the only sites that wasn't blocked & we spent hours every day at school looking through it. Soooo fucked up

My teacher hated Ren & Stimpy with a passion. Used to give detentions for any references. We had to write & perform a song for english so my friend & I did a parody of the log ad using his name.
It was a catholic school & our principal was a slightly senile, sweet old nun & his complaints when he took us to the office & wanted us suspended seemed too ridiculous to her so we got away with it.

Used to work out in remote Australia on the ocean. Telstra chopper used to double for rescue/charter/whatever was needed. Whenever we saw him we used to give the pilot the finger from the boat as we'd met him at the pub in the nearest town. If he wasn't busy he used to come in real low & kick spray up all over the boat. Was really cool

Hahaha, I've seen this at work too. Guy misinterpreted something written on the job board called the management cunts tried to slam the door then started walking home cos he was on a suspension for drink driving & his wife wouldn't be able to pick him up for 3 hours.
Manager just sighed & asked me to take one of the work cars to bring him back. Don't know how he wasn't fired over it as he was on thin ice for losing his licence already.

There's a clubhouse in Australia that caters mostly to old people (they're called RSLs). There's one in my town that's always been especially bad for their food. But said to my buddy "I feel like RSL roast pork for lunch" a couple of months ago.
We went there & they have a new chef running the kitchen. Food is actually pretty good now, but as much as I acknowledge it was better than what I was expecting, I was pretty disappointed at the same time.
Just saw this on instagram. How difficult would it be for an untrained person to land a passenger plane.
