It just doesn’t deserve to be in the conversation as a great city when it’s so much worse maybe I’m biased cos I live near Manchester and liverpool and haven’t seen other cities but Birmingham is just embarrassingly bad I was expecting it to be alright cos people here on Reddit were like it’s not that bad but I left like okkkkk I see why everyone hates it here

Considering birminghams massive size is it horrible for how little stuff to there is to do there, huge city with all of the problems of a big city with none of the fun stuff. The city centre is comparable to like something the size of Nottingham I don’t understand why people try to act like it’s pretty good anyone who has been to any other city can see how much better every other city is

I go places without many tourists, I like seeing different people and ways of life and meeting rlly nice people. I just stayed in this £3 a night hostel in Tbilisi Georgia with this rlly nice old woman as the owner always giving me stuff and then going out and seeing all the political graffiti and rlly learning about the country it’s fun!!! I don’t mind the transport sometimes it’s even fun like when I got invited into a random Turkish guys taxi music was blasting next to a lovely sunset and the taxi driver who’s spoke no English was making funny sounds and hand gestures I’m sure staying at home is way more memorable tho

If it looks like a backpack they don’t check, I fly like 10 times a year always with only a backpack, but don’t fully pack it so u can squeeze it down on the way to fit just in case, and if u fill the bag up with souvenirs just put a few extra layers on at the gates and then take them all off
