How much reconfiguring was done to fit electric motor in? Normally a rebuilt diesel would drop right in. Yanmar would be my pick.

Which boat? Catalina 25 or MacGregor 26S. Beginner. Will probably lake sail and work up to small coastal outings.

How would you add an outboard to a stern that looks like this? I bought this sailboat for $1 and need to transport it. There's an inboard but I'm not counting on it to work so my goal is to add a 9.9hp outboard.

You need a building for the C&C to tear it apart over the winter. Both good boats, buy the one with the best sails.
