Now that we’re old enough to care. How do we feel about modern interior design trends?

47 years old. Needed dress shoes. So naturally, I bought my first pair of Doc Martens’. 30+ years too late? Also, still Punk AF.

American chop suey. Elbows, some form of ground beef (or venison), bell pepper, onion, canned tomatoes. Sheperds (cottage) pie. Browned hamburg and onion on the bottom, canned corn in the middle, mashed potatoes on top. Baked for some nice crispy mash. I still make both meals but I fancy them up a lot. Like instead of 5 ingredients, it's more like 15 haha.

I started using millennial sub because I assumed I was one. Then someone pointed out I was an Xer. So I used that sub. It feels like they are a little more advanced in years than me in there. I didnt know Xennial was a thing until just now. I guess I found my lane

Conversation with my wife: “Kimmy Gibbler’s parents must have been rich, like living in San Francisco Rich. That’s way more than Kevin McCallister rich.” Her response, “Totally.”

Lmao I love rando convos like this. I remember something super random Kimmy said. Her family would trash a house for a few years and they would move out. As a kid that blew my mind.
