We can reach them if they are made long enough otherwise it can be a stretch to reach around the booty (if you got one of size) to thread the back one between your legs then you gotta blindly line the clasps up or you end up with just 1 clipped and that pops off during the day. Its even harder if you also have a tummy in the way.

Two, itās directly between you and the part of your body that youāre trying to get access to. And letās face it, the pelvic floor muscles of anyone belonging to this sub just aināt what they used to be, so itās often the case that when you have to pee, youāre trying to get sat down and in position with a quickness.
Threeāand this might be the most important part of why itās a pain in the assāyou have to snap that all that shit back together when youāre done. Which may or may not be a simple task for you, depending on how much mobility youāve got in your back and shoulders these days.
Thatās why a lot of gals mention pulling it to the side. That might not always be a good option, depending on why you needed to go to the bathroom in the first place.

Oh I got news for you. My wife did community service as part of her degree and worked at goodwill exactly once. They were taking all the clothes directly from the donation bins and putting them directly on the shelves.
I know you can take clothes home and wash them but what about bed bugs and lice? They have dressing rooms where people try stuff on. Lots of people shop at goodwill there should be some kind of disclaimer that clothes arenāt sanitized at least.
Disclaimer: I guess itās possible it was just the one goodwill but from what I heard they didnāt even have any equipment to wash or steam the clothes, it was just box to shelf.

Exactly this. My mom worked in a factory that made things like socks, pantyhose, pajamas, etc., and she was always adamant about washing clothes bought from literally anywhere, because she knew exactly how gross that factories could be. It also wasn't as if she was a particularly cleanly person in general, that place was just nasty and she knew it wasn't much better elsewhere.

Everything I buy at goodwill, I think of as a gamble. I don't pay more for an item than I would be okay with losing. Generally, that's like no more than 7-10 dollars per item, max. Nothing goes in my home until it's either sat in black trashbags in the southern heat for 2 weeks or gone directly into the washer/ dryer on high heat. There's no way I'm trying on random thrift store clothes.

My nearest goodwill literally has a sign in the donation drop off area that says all donated items must be laundered and clean before drop off as they do not launder or clean anything there. I would imagine they probably just reject or trash items that donāt pass the visual or smell test.

Worked as a mgr for a Goodwill. There is a common misconception within the public that thrift stores launder or clean the items. They DO NOT. The cost would be prohibitive and with the amount of donations it wouldn't be possible. Clothes come in giant crates that are about 7 foot tall by 5 ft wide. Stores receive shipments from donation centers a few times a week plus donations from locals. The back rooms are packed. There wouldn't even be room for the 15 washers and dryers you'd need going at once.

Thereās a thrift store by me called Uplift Thrift. Itās run by the City Rescue Mission which is a Christian oriented homeless shelter. I call it the Jesus store because they always have Jesus music playing. I donāt know if they sanitize their clothes but that store is spotless. And they have tons of designer clothes really cheap. Lice live at most 2 days away from a host. Bed bugs are a much more significant concern as they can live away from a host for months. But they also donāt live on clothing. You generally bring them home in your suit case while traveling because they crawl in there because itās dark and cave like.
As for clothing at goodwill youāre just as likely to bring home bed bugs from anything you buy at goodwill and more likely to do so while traveling in certain areas.
This is more about an ick factor than any true risk and itās appropriate to understand that. Just because it seems bad doesnāt mean it is. Besides at certain levels of means you just donāt have options.

Im not OP but for me itās a sensory nightmare. I donāt want all that mess around my nethers when I can just go about my life in underwear and normal shirts. I donāt need to introduce a whole new layer of fabric down south. When I was wearing them in middle school I had constant wedgies because clothes shrink the more you wash them. I think a lot of folks have trauma from dealing with them. Iām sorry if any of this came across as judgmental toward you but youāre also giving a weird defensive vibe when people have legit reasons for hating them, just like any other weird and uncomfortable (for some of us) fad from the 90s. And I havenāt cared about tucking a shirt in my whole life so the appeal is kind of lost for me. This thread was the first time I became aware of how many people still do want a tucked in shirt look.

A body suit, really! I havenāt seen one of those since 1973 when a girl in my gym class made the unfortunate choice of wearing that as a leotard during gymnastics in gym class. The snaps gave way on an uneven bars routine and you can guess the rest! How embarrassing! I still remember it to this day! Poor girl.
