Do people actually like using induction hobs?

I have a reasonably high quality one and it works very well. So easy to clean and behaves very similarly to gas. Plus you can go so low you don’t need a double boiler to melt chocolate. Always grew up with gas and have used shit electric ones at uni. But my induction is my favourite hob I’ve used

Why is being cold at home so normalised in the UK?

Dave Gilmour renovated a crazy seafront property to live in, decided he didn’t like Brighton and can’t sell if for anywhere near what he spent on it so there’s that. Other than him a few of the Eubanks spent part of their time here, though in recent years they seem to spent more time away, some friends have some crazy house party stories from back in the day about the house parties the kids would throw. Other than that Jr seemed rather normal and would often be spotted doing normal activities round town like going to a comedy club or bowling etc. I often see BHAFC defender Van Hecke going for a walk in the park on match day mornings

Swift, Ronaldo and probably Axl Rose. Though lineker being big on the bbc for years why guns and roses became a bit irrelevant could have turned that round

Do we grow out of watching football?.

Posted by stormblazer11@reddit | AskUK | View on Reddit | 649 comments

bigfatpup@reddit

I love watching football, but at 30 I can’t imagine tracking to the stadium every other weekend. With travel, drinks, queuing etc you can be out the house most of the day. It’s just a shame a season ticket is the only reliable way to go to a game of your choosing these days

How often do yall wear hats? If you do wear them, what kind of hat?

Posted by YOUTUBEFREEKYOYO@reddit | AskABrit | View on Reddit | 627 comments

When my hair was longer I’d wear a hat to keep it out my face, usually a bass pro shop hat or something similar. Without long hair, pretty much never maybe like visiting a cold country on holiday in winter I’d wear a beanie

Asian supermarket, or the weird dodgy shot bar where the local dealer kept his weed behind the bar, the bouncers would often serve you drinks, and we’d stumble into on our way home from a night in town.

Not had Turkish Borek, but if it’s anything like the Croatian (burek) it’s tasty, especially the meat ones, most meat eating people will like that as long as they like that sort of thing early in the morning. Again not had menemen, but shakshuka is a popular dish at a lot brunch places I’ve been to
