Sure we were, but we also had far more experience around children. I had already helped to raise younger siblings and most families around us had a good 5-6 children. We also had more sense, as we weren’t raised on Home Alone and vids where people just blow up everything

Do you want your kids to take care of you, if someday, you need daily caretaking?

Science_Matters_100@reddit

Impossible question because it completely depends what sort of care, and there’s a lot of degrees of need from nearly none to more intensive needs. It also depends what else they have going, etc

Leave the USA. Go to any country that offers you social safety nets and a better life. It doesn’t matter if you love the USA, it will never love you back. It’s abusive and you should leave it

Dumpsters. That’s what we did. We know that some actual treasures were lost, but SO MUCH STUFF! Smh It made me let go of wondering what my Grandma all burned when she was clearing out as I heard that there were antiques and stuff, but at least she dealt with her own stuff. Now you have me decided to pitch stuff today, lol

To some extent, they would. The difference when on or off T is astounding. Words cannot even describe it. So if they’ve never been without it then I don’t expect that they could get the struggle for older women to build muscle. There’s research suggesting that using T should be routine for older women to recover from injuries

Thanks, I hadn’t thought of asking a physical therapist. I’ll do that. I’m too far from your area to benefit from the people that you’ve found. Appreciate the advice!

When the community college system has been closed by terrible “leadership” how do you say that they still have this path? Maybe where you live but it’s pretty ignorant to assume that everyone does. In my state it is GONE

We could make smart choices like community college followed by state college, and graduate with either no debt or very little, just by doing some low wage part time work. They do not have that option

Wish I never had. While I enjoyed it, I I didn’t realize that when older generations remarked on it being “hard on the joints,” they meant “prematurely destroys your joints.” I know, some people are luckier in their hardiness, but if I could go back in time it’s at the top of my list to tell myself, “DON’T!”
