Get to 60mph/100kph in less than 5. Make that a boundary on the lightness benchmark. It’ll happen soon enough. Ai will help assist in weight savings and ideal crash scenarios, optimized torque and horsepower curves, past 100 not a lot of people will care if it’s as slow as a brz/miata. Center of gravity low and centred, rwd, lsd’s, we have all the pieces of the puzzle, and now we have ai to optimize. I see the 2 cars mentioned here being a very real option very soon

I’ve had an 08 M3, B8S4, mk7 GTI, Acura integra gsr, 97 prelude, 135i, eclipse GT, older model GT, 89 civic hatchback with a b16 motor, and a lot more lame cars too. I still miss my 89 civic, I’ll never sell my prelude, the S4 feels like a keeper, never sell my 135i even though it’s always needing something. I don’t even look forward to new cars anymore. If I sold the 135 I’d replace it with an m2 or a supra. All these cars have been manual. You should find a car that is special to you. They’re like your kids with their quirks. I get so attached lol

I loved the look, sound, v8. Test drove one and it was sloppier than I’m used to, my FBO 135i actually felt more muscular and agile. Reliability? The n54 always has something going off, but now at 140k km it’s got most things replaced that would go bad …. Fingers crossed lol. Hope it treats you well, I still get a semi when that SVR rolls by me
