Looks to me like a "Colt Defender" bb gun. CO2 powered. It's almost identical to mine except mine has writing down both sides of the barrel. The ejection port is a chrome colored sticker. https://a.co/d/3eJG3r2

Gun control is not racist

Just skimmed it, but the line "gun control is neither racist or repressive" kind of ended my desire to listen to any more of what you had to say Insanely idiotic take. Take that garbage somewhere else

Could anyone ID this gun from The Blacksheep Affair?

That doesn't pop through my tin foil hat. Seems like a stretch too far. Not a big enough payoff for such a tiny return. I'm not getting paid and if I was, there aren't enough posts like this to find my nut. If I was getting paid you would see me post Everywhere, or idiots like me. Maybe someone would be smart enough to have a program do it, or whatever The site is cool. Don't like it, jog off

Proper planning prevents piss poor performance. Common sense will be king and knowledge will be priceless. Starting fires, making water safe and harvesting food are long lost skills for a lot of people. The people that can't do those things will be gone in a month. Those who can will survive.

For $1000 what would you choose?

I wouldn't want that, from several reasons. What are your opinions?

Benefits are not worth the costs. Possibly unreliable The people that would buy this aren't the kind of people that need it. Can you hack it? Can you reprogram it? Does corporate have access to it? Can they tell when it's fired? Do they track it? What happens when the battery dies? What about the other 500 million guns already in the US? Oh yeah,.and bad guys don't give a rip.

Realistically, they just all went way up in value. You just turned every guy working paycheck to paycheck into a rich fella. (If he is going to sell some) The longer it goes, the more value they have. Like a safe full of lottery tickets.

Get a dog. Then work on a reasonable pistol that she is comfortable with. Keep upgrading. Eventually, work towards a cannon at the top of the stairs where she can demolish half the house with a single shot. But seriously, get a dog first. Then move towards a lethal response.

Why are 1911s so popular compared to other .45 caliber handguns with higher capacity?

Options for days... My favorite carry is a Ruger LC9. Small. Magazine safety, thumb safety. Cheap ($350) The real answer is, what do you think is comfortable? Reach out to others in your area and ask if you can try what they carry. Most gun people are happy to share Then, practice. And then practice some more.

I'm impressed he had so many guns to pull it off (I realize there are plenty of duplicates) Also sad to admit that Colorado may soon be sporting the Red Ryder. :(

I hope it gave you a lot of enjoyment and a sense of accomplishment. Seems like a fun project. Not sure I would have used my time on a Hi-Point, but it's a nice cheap place to start. I really have no opinion, just trying to be positive

MaximumTacoPower@reddit (OP)

A 1911 always felt more meaty to me. If I ran out of bullets, then I could beat the shit out of someone with it. Some modern pistols with composite lowers didn't have the same feel. And a 1911 just looks cool. More iconic than newer pew pews.

Probably possible to pick random quotes from anyone. I wouldn't consider either one of those fellas next level thinkers. Would love to see an alternative universe where either one could debate Jefferson. Both of those guys were more interested in power for themselves than anything else.

I understand where you are coming from and get your point. I think you are missing the big picture. American "gun nuts" aren't about making guns the answer to every problem. Taking guns away from the 99.9% of people who aren't the problem doesn't solve any problems. Making it more difficult for average people doesn't make crime go away. The biggest statistic no one talks about is the millions of defensive gun uses that stop crime. Since it doesn't sell media clicks, no one really knows the actual number, but legit sources claim a few million defensive stops per year. All of the gun nuts I know toss thousands of rounds downrange a year. Far more than cops or military. To go even a step further... Concealed carry users are even more vigilant than any others. The gun nuts are the guys you want on your side and lurking when you need help. Cops only arrive after the tragedy. It's better practice to stop or prevent it before it happens. Cheers

If his team could use common sense terms in defining anything gun related then we could start a conversation. Ghost clips and lung removing 9mm bullets aren't a good start to a real conversation. If you hate something, at least learn something about it before you try and attack it
